A request for a one-year extension on a large proposed six-story apartment complex was itself extended by the Garden Grove Planning Commission.
The panel voted to delay consideration of the request by Investel Garden Resorts to delay plans to build the project, which would consolidate four parcels into one for the 53-unit complex at 12233-12239 Choisser Road, east of Harbor Boulevard.
The proposed project would be built near the hotel district at Chapman Avenue and Harbor.
Plans for a 23-story tall Nickelodeon resort nearby have been approved by the city council, but action to begin building is being held up by a ballot measure to go before voters next year.
