Newport Beach-based Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back margaritas, one of the chain’s original menu items, to select stores for a limited time this year by launching a five-city, pop-up event.
During the month of October, $6 margaritas will be available each weekend at a different Chipotle restaurant starting in Denver then in New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and New Orleans.
Chipotle discontinued margaritas from the menu in 2020. The launch coincides with the chain’s annual “Boorito” in-store deal on Halloween day.
The company is Orange County’s second largest restaurant chain with nearly $12 billion in systemwide sales for 2025. Chipotle also opened its 1,500th Chipotlane drive-through today in Florida after debuting the store format focused on digital orders in 2018.
