Premier Health Plan has been renamed to UCI Health Plan Network after UCI Health’s acquisition of the insurance agency specializing in Affordable Care Act coverage and Medicare Advantage plans.
The health plan will include independent community physicians across Orange County and southeast Los Angeles County. The name change will not affect existing physician participation arrangement or practice autonomy
“The UCI Health Plan Network reflects our commitment to supporting independent community physicians while strengthening connections across the health care delivery system,” UCI Health Chief Executive Chad Lefteris said in a statement.
