Brute, Outcast, PRVN and Training Think Tank will each bring six athletes — three men and three women — to the Huntington Beach Pier for a three-day competition featuring 11 workouts.
There’s also plenty at stake. The four camps will compete for $214,000 in prize money, with $120,000 going to the first-place team. An MVP also will be selected at the end of the competition and receive an additional $10,000.

Divide & Conquer is a 30-minute, for-time workout featuring all six athletes.
The three co-ed pairs take turns completing a beach run and returning to touch the log. After the third pair completes its run, the full team moves on to the 1 Ton Move.
All athletes wear a 5.11 Tactical Vest during the workout.
What Is Modal Madness At Battle Of The Camps?
Modal Madness features three parts.
The opening portion tests unbroken triple unders, beginning with five and increasing by five each set. Part 2 features a max handstand hold from an L-sit to press out, while Part 3 is an 80-foot dumbbell Curtis P relay using 70-pound dumbbells for the men and 50-pound dumbbells for the women.
What Is Aftershock At Battle Of The Camps?
Aftershock carries a 33-minute time cap and combines AssaultRunner work with synchronized movements, kettlebell work and the Rogue Echo Ski.
The workout progresses through three parts, adding movements as athletes advance. Those include three-person synchronized worm-facing burpees, four-person synchronized kettlebell goblet squats, three-person synchronized GHD sit-ups and four-person synchronized kettlebell goblet step-overs.
What Is Echo On Damn Diane At Battle Of The Camps?
Echo On Damn Diane is a 21-minute, for-time workout consisting of 15 rounds.
Athletes cycle through strict deficit handstand push-ups, Echo Bike calories and deadlifts at 315 pounds for the men and 205 pounds for the women. The order of the deadlifts and handstand push-ups changes during different three-round segments of the workout.
What Is 2 Min Of Fame At Battle Of The Camps?
2 Min of Fame is a 20-minute interval event.
Trios alternate two minutes of work with two minutes of rest until the team completes 120 worm thrusters. Each working interval begins with six two-person synchronized bar complexes consisting of four toes-to-bar and two bar muscle-ups. Teams use the remaining time for as many worm thrusters as possible with a 282-pound worm.
What Is Bagged & Tagged At Battle Of The Camps?
Bagged & Tagged is an elimination-style event with a three-minute cap per round.
Athletes complete ring muscle-ups before moving three progressively heavier sandbags over the yoke. The top eight advance from Round 1 and the top four advance from Round 2 before the final round determines the finish.
What Is Shoulder Season At Battle Of The Camps?
Shoulder Season has a 10-minute time cap and combines pull-ups, rowing and overhead squats.
Athletes begin with 42 chest-to-bar pull-ups, followed by a 30/24-calorie row and 18 overhead squats at 185/135 pounds. They then complete 42 pull-ups, another 30/24-calorie row and 18 overhead squats at 135/95 pounds.
What Is High Ballers At Battle Of The Camps?
High Ballers is a 20-minute workout built around synchronized wall balls and increasingly high box jump overs.
Male-female pairs work through sets of 50, 35 and 20 reps. The wall-ball target increases from 9 feet to 10 feet and finally 11 feet, while the box heights increase at each stage.
What Is Vertigo At Battle Of The Camps?
Vertigo has a nine-minute time cap and combines handstand walking with legless rope climbs.
Athletes complete 80-foot handstand walks and sets of legless rope climbs across four rounds. Handstand walks must be completed in 20-foot unbroken sections and are performed conga-style, while athletes alternate on the rope climbs.
