A 22-year-old woman has been identified as the second victim who died alongside an Orange County car influencer in a fiery McLaren crash in Irvine.
IRVINE, Calif. (KABC) –A 22-year-old woman has been identified as the second victim who died alongside a car influencer in a fiery McLaren crash in Irvine over the weekend.
Alexis “Lexi” Kramer died early Sunday along with 27-year-old James Wehr, who co-founded South OC Cars and Coffee in San Clemente.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Culver Drive and Deerfield Avenue
Police said the driver of the McLaren accelerated
Police said the driver of the McLaren accelerated after a traffic light turned green, lost control of the vehicle, struck a curb and crashed into a tree.
The impact split the vehicle in two and caused it to catch fire. Wehr and Kramer were found dead inside the car.
Kramer was a Hooters calendar girl from Florida. According to her family, Wehr had flown her to California for what was the pair’s first date that night.

A GoFundMe campaign has been created to raise money for Kramer’s funeral costs and related expenses.
