Three people were hospitalized Saturday after a driver slammed into a nail salon in Perris, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
The crash was reported just before 1 p.m. on the 1600 block of North Perris Boulevard. There, for reasons still under investigation, a driver barreled toward the busy salon.

According to the salon’s manager, at least 10 people were present when the incident happened.
“My mom, she’d seen that, so I guess she jumped just to get out of the way,” said Jonathan Nguyen, the salon’s manager. “So, of course she was hurt a little bit. I was scared and in shock.”
Riverside officials said the victims are in stable condition.
A cause for the crash is unclear. No arrests have been made.
