Kyle Schwarber hit the go-ahead run on an RBI double to start the inning, and then Trae Turner drove in two more on a single to give the Phillies the breathing room they would need to win the game. It came in handy too, as the Angels scored another run in the bottom of the inning on a fielder’s choice. What might get lost in this game is the start of the Angels’ righty Ryan Johnson, who went five innings while just giving up one run on two hits.
